4. Data Storage and Security

Your personal data is stored securely on servers located within the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area. We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include encrypted data transmission, secure server environments, and access controls limiting data access to authorised personnel only.

We retain your personal data only for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by law. Contact and project data is typically retained for six years following the completion of a project or the end of our business relationship, in line with statutory limitation periods.

5. Payment Security & Card Data

When you make a purchase through our online shop, all payment transactions are processed securely by Stripe, our third-party payment processor. Stripe is certified as a PCI-DSS Level 1 Service Provider, the highest level of certification available in the payment card industry.

How your payment data is handled:

  • Card data is never stored on our servers. Your credit or debit card details are transmitted directly to Stripe using industry-standard TLS encryption and are tokenised by Stripe. FcMig (UK) Limited does not have access to, process, or store your full card number, CVV, or PIN at any time.
  • Secure tokenisation: Stripe replaces your card details with a secure token, which is used to process the transaction. This means your card information cannot be intercepted or misused.
  • Transaction records: We retain only the minimum information necessary for order management, such as the last four digits of your card, card type (e.g. Visa, Mastercard), and transaction reference number.
  • Fraud prevention: Stripe employs advanced machine learning and fraud detection systems to protect against unauthorised transactions.

For more information on how Stripe handles your data, please refer to Stripe’s Privacy Policy.

6. Your Rights

Under the UK GDPR, you have the following rights in relation to your personal data:

  • Right of access: you have the right to request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Right to rectification: you have the right to request that we correct any inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
