As we enter the second quarter of 2026, FcMig (UK) Limited continues to grow in capability, capacity, and ambition. In this update, I want to share some highlights from our recent work and offer a glimpse of what lies ahead for the company.
Project Highlights
The past six months have been among the most productive in FcMig’s history. We have successfully delivered several major projects including a 200,000 sq ft e-commerce fulfilment centre in the West Midlands (our largest single project to date), a multi-zone cold storage facility in the South East, and ongoing multi-site maintenance programmes supporting 24/7 operations at facilities across the UK. Each project has reinforced our reputation for quality, safety, and reliability — values that our clients consistently tell us are the reasons they choose to work with FcMig.
Investing in Our Team
Our people are the foundation of everything we deliver. Over the past year, we have invested significantly in training and development, with our team members achieving new qualifications in areas ranging from NEBOSH health and safety management to BIM coordination and energy assessment. We have also welcomed new members to our construction, engineering, and maintenance teams, strengthening our capacity to take on larger and more complex projects.
Digital Innovation
Our digital capabilities continue to develop. We have expanded our IoT sensor deployment across our maintenance estate, providing clients with real-time visibility into the condition of their building assets. Our digital twin pilot programme has demonstrated significant value in predictive maintenance and energy optimisation, and we are now rolling this capability out to additional client facilities. These digital tools are not replacements for our core construction and engineering expertise — they are enhancements that help us deliver even better outcomes for our clients.
Sustainability Progress
We are proud to report continued progress towards our 2035 Net Zero target. Our construction sites are consistently achieving waste diversion rates above 95%, our latest projects have incorporated recycled steel, low-carbon concrete, and solar PV as standard specifications, and our energy audit and retrofit services are helping existing facility operators reduce their carbon footprint and energy costs. Sustainability is not a separate initiative at FcMig — it is embedded in how we design, build, and maintain every facility.
Looking Ahead
As we look to the remainder of 2026, we see strong demand across all of our service lines. The UK logistics sector continues to evolve rapidly, driven by e-commerce growth, automation adoption, and tightening sustainability requirements. FcMig is well-positioned to support our clients through this evolution — whether they need a new-build facility, a comprehensive refurbishment, ongoing maintenance support, or expert engineering advice. I want to thank our clients, our team, and our partners for their continued trust and collaboration. The best is yet to come.
